Method

  1. Cookie Dough

    • Preheat the oven to 150°C.
    • In a mixing bowl, combine salted butter and icing sugar, then beat until well combined.
    • Add eggs and beat until well mixed.
    • Add all-purpose flour, followed by powdered milk, vanilla extract, and double-acting baking powder (Best Foods brand). Mix until well combined.
    • Knead the dough until it comes together, then roll it out to a thickness of about 5 millimeters.
    • Use a cookie cutter to shape the dough into round cookies, dividing them into bases and tops, which will form an "O" shape when assembled.
    • Place both parts of the cookies on a baking tray and bake in the preheated oven at 150°C for about 18-20 minutes.

  2. Cookie Filling

    • Spread LC Filling Strawberry Flavor (Best Foods brand) onto the base cookie or full sheet, spreading it thinly.
    • Take the top round cookie (shaped like the letter "O") and sandwich it together.
    • Fill the sandwich with LC Filling Strawberry Flavor (Best Foods brand) until it's full.
    • Bake in the preheated oven at 150°C for about 5-10 minutes.

  3. Cookie Decorating

    • Drop plain water onto the icing sugar and stir until the icing sugar dissolves. Place it in a piping bag and set aside.
    • Use the icing sugar and decorating sugar crystals to decorate the cookies.
    • Let it rest to set. Once set, the cookies are ready to serve.
